Lecture Series

Since its inception in 2006, the Harvard SAA Lecture Series has brought a diverse group of dynamic South Asians and scholars of South Asia to campus. The goal of the series specifically lies in exposing members of Harvard College as well as the wider community at Harvard University to extraordinary individuals whose work or path in life relates to South Asia. We strive to offer a fresh perspective on issues pertinent to South Asia as well as the South Asian Diaspora in the US and elsewhere. If you are interested in suggesting South Asians and/or scholars of South Asia who have distinguished themselves in a variety of different fields, please contact our Academic/Political Chair, Nicolas Roth, at njroth@fas.harvard.edu
